July 19th - 25th Tarotscopes

So here we are and do y'all feel like summer is starting to wind down with all these back to school ads already starting?! This week brings us some changes as Saturn enters it's two year journey through Libra on the 21st and the Sun makes it's way into Leo on the 22nd! Posts on both these occurrences are forthcoming! Once again I thought I'd switch up the cards a little and introduce you to The Fey Tarot! It's also another favorite of mine! I will say that I will only be using cards as the images from decks that I actually use! And I probably won't put up some decks that I have, since some retire to the "well they're just pretty but don't function the best" box! Aries (Mar 21 - April 19)-You've had your fair share of trials lately, but this week will bring you some success and triumph for the strength you managed to sustain. If you happen to find yourself in a leadership position this week, don't shy away from the responsibilities! This could be just what you need to show everyone what you're really made of! You feel like the clouds have lifted and you're ready to make a go at all the new ideas that have been popping into your head a reality! Realize that your quest for the ultimate truth is sure to have it's doubters. Don't allow others to determine your future! You have the strength to outlast them all!

Taurus (April 20 - May 20) - While last week gave you the inspiration to move things forward, this week you find someone could be holding you back... or maybe you just put the brakes on yourself! If you find yourself slipping back into the pattern of pleasing others to keep the peace, how long to do you you can sustain that before you get frustrated again? You know your intentions are for the good of all! While Queens bring beauty and support to their King, the King is the final law of the land. It's not an easy thing if a life changing decision needs to be made, but progress requires movement, not resistance. Reclaim your kingdom!

Gemini (May 21 - June 21)- You might just wish you could find a hole to crawl in this week! Things just seem to go from bad to worse from one minute to the next! And if you saw this coming, well hopefully you learn from this week to be better prepared. While it could just be that you've just been too involved in other people's business, this week will definitely have your saying ENOUGH of that! If you've given too much of yourself and feel depleted of energy, look at what or who is zapping that from you. Sometimes you need to know when to pick your battles and what you're really fighting for!

Cancer (June 22 - July 22)- Well it looks as though the storm might not be cleared up just yet and a little more strength is needed! Approach things with the intelligence you possess and keep your optimism on par with your determination and willpower! If you start to feel your energy becoming pessimistic, remember that you can't have a rainbow without the rain! Life is always changing... as long as you're working towards what you want with the passion you hold, things will turn out the way that they are supposed to. Holding onto the doubt that you can't make things happen will only keep you from REALLY making it happen!

Leo (July 23 - Aug 22)- This week finds you rather well! Of course, the Sun is moving into your sign! And while you might hope that it could bring you some excitement, it seems to let you off a little easy this week! The most exciting thing is that life is starting to mellow out and really just working out in your favor in every way!! Instinctively, you might scope out who might be easy prey if you're looking for a partner! While those in relationships, will be finding a closer and deeper connection. Romance is highlighted this week and for those of you celebrating birthdays, you'll be more than happy with the presents you receive!

Virgo (Aug 23 - Sept 22)- You and Gemini wouldn't mind sharing a hole together.. if you just didn't find yourself so intolerant of people this week! Feel free to blame Saturn as he leaves your sign and expects you to be to be celebrating what you've accomplished. For you, that's easier said than done as you ALWAYS feel there's work to be done! The Queen of Swords represents female intuition and strength, but right now you're more tired than usual of trying to figure out the world's problems! Do what you can, but don't drive yourself insane trying to always have the answers. Trust that other people MAY actually know what they're talking about too!

Libra (Sept 23 - Oct 23)- SUCCESS!! This week will bring about such pleasure and feeling of contentment that you'll wonder if a magic spell was cast! The 9 of Cups really is one of the best cards to get and indicates a time of harmony! Anything your heart desires right now is easily achieved. Friendships and relationships will be of importance this week as emotionally you feel full of love and want to spread your happiness with everyone! Creativity flows easily and you'll want to create beauty in your outside world. Spiritually, you will feel a deeper connection and understanding to the world as well. Devote some time this week to meditating on the beauty you hold within and how you can share this with others!

Scorpio (Oct 24 - Nov 21)- While last week you needed hope, this week you could need a kick in the pants! You could be delusional if you think no one is noticing and others will wonder just what it is that's going on with you. If you find yourself breaking commitments or being unreliable, ask yourself why that is? Are you too caught up in yourself or do you just not care to repay the same kindness to others that you've been shown? With this card reversed, it shows there will be some sort of trouble from family situations. Let's just hope this trouble isn't coming from your own self-indulgence!

Sagittarius (Nov 22 - Dec 21)- You always seem to be impossibly optimistic, but this week could have you questioning if you're just putting up a front for how nervous you can be with the way things have been going lately. You know they always work out, but this time you wonder how exactly you'll reach the means to achievement! The options have all be laid out on the table for you, there are no secret paths or alternative ways to go about things. The problem stems from either you not making the decision for yourself and expecting someone else to OR you feel that your way is the only way, even though it's the same path you've been on without any success. Look over the options again and decide what is really necessary.

Capricorn (Dec 22 - Jan 19)- What I like about this card's visual is it's not the standard heart with 3 swords in it! To which people usually look at and go, YIKES! But this week has you feeling a little disconnected from others. You feel things are at a point where any moment it'll get better, but the despair could take a toll on you this week. If you did happen to find yourself helping someone out last week and thus sacrificing something yourself, you could feel used and also upset that you let yourself be taken in. While it is a valuable lesson, you know you will need to clear the way for something better than what's already around you.

Aquarius (Jan 20-Feb 18)- If last week taught you anything, it was to listen to your heart! But this week, you might take others opinions a little TOO MUCH to heart! Maybe they're not even forming and opinion, but somewhere along the way you've decided they have. Unless you know for certain what someone thinks of you, you might be making yourself out to be a victim by YOUR own judgment. And anyways, why care what anyone thinks? As the sign attributed to humanity, you'll just need to realize this week that we all have our own thoughts and opinions on things and there's no way we can all believe things exactly the same way.

Pisces (Feb 19 - Mar 20)- You are just one little busy bee this week! Though if you're not careful, you could find yourself making mistakes and needing to re-do your work! Your enthusiasm has been through the roof lately, but if you're being careless, you might need to reel the enthusiasm in just a bit to make sure your skill is being fully utilized and not making you appear incompetent! The resources are there for you, but you'll need to make a choice in what direction you want to take. If you've been waiting for a new job, this could be the week that some promising news finally comes in!

Well, look at that! The Eclipse must be helping me out a little in punctuality! Last week was rather exciting... thankfully, I now have a lawn instead of sand and Friday my car had a spark plug coil ignite and catch fire! Talk about some drama!! Aries (Mar 21 - April 19)- Your eyes might not be open to the situations around you, or maybe at this point you'd rather just settle and see if that works out? You might be needing to take another look at things and make sure you're really being honest with yourself. This week is bound to bring you some temptations of an easier way out, but if it's compromising your ability to make things right, you may be easily swayed to throw caution to the wind! Rather than focusing on something you think is a helpless situation, be thankful for that which is already in your life!







Taurus (April 20 - May 20) - This week has a sense of renewed inspiration!! You're ready to start moving forward with some ideas you've set aside for a while. And at this point it really is a time to leap and then look! Too often, you have found yourself trying to control the situations trying to come up with a solution to please everyone but yourself. New Moon in Cancer ~ Solar Eclipse!

Just as Venus will be reminding us to take stock of things, this Solar Eclipse in Cancer on July 11th, will be challenging us individually to really break free from what's holding us back. Because Cancer is a sign that has a tendency to cling to the past, emotions may run deep as we try to figure out what will bring the depths of nurturing and security we're looking for.

The Sun and Moon are the 2 most important "planets" in your chart. Technically they aren't planets, but are luminaries, since they give off light! The Sun represents our emotional security or insecurities, temperament and attachments. The Moon is our feelings and our perception of emotions. When the Sun and Moon are activated together, it creates an intense energy flow between the Sun (consciousness) and the Moon (feelings).

Throughout the Moon's cycles, there is a death and rebirth happening. During the New Moon we let our instincts lead us. While in Cancer, focus will be on your feelings of dependency, home comforts, family matters, past memories, fears, and our true passions. This New Moon with it's Cancer/Capricorn influence will help us push past anything weighing us down and GET REAL with where we want our life's path to go!

Now don't get into a tizzy the all of a sudden things are magickally going to get figured out! That's not the point. The energy from eclipses is technically activated for about 6 months or so. But the focus needs to be baby steps. One small step leads to another, and another, and so on. Give yourself the peace in knowing there is always a new sunrise and sunset each and every day. This is the time to get back to your roots.

Everyone will feel this energy differently, just as I last talked about with the Venus in Virgo post. Those with a planet or angle between 17 and 21 degrees of Cancer or Capricorn, may feel the strength of the eclipse more directly. So let's take a look at how this might effect your sign!


Aries (March 21 - April 19)- This Eclipse activates your 4th House, bringing focus to your home and family. Events from the past may unexpectedly have you thinking of how it affects you in the present. You might also find yourself wanting to tackle home projects that you've put off to make your home more how you've wanted it to be or if relocation has been on your mind, this may be the start of that action! Any social connections at your house are sure to bring you deep emotional satisfaction. Your appreciation for family is easily shown.

Taurus (April 20 - May 20)- You may feel a strong drive to achieve what you've been looking for through intellect and mental accomplishments as the Eclipse sits in your 3rd House of communication and intelligence. The 3rd House also indicates siblings and neighbors, so you may be inspired to work on the relationship and become closer. This will be a time to expand and communicate your ideas! If you have a special talent, you might find satisfaction in teaching others your skill. Since this is also a time of increased awareness, establishing a meditation routine may prove beneficial!

Gemini (May 21 - June 20)- Finances will focus in heavily for with the Eclipse hanging out in your 2nd House of income and worth. It might be tough to realize what's serving it's purpose for you and what's expendable! Especially as Venus is making it's way through your 4th House, your home! You may be living beyond your means. A change may be necessary, but taking the leap of faith might just be what it takes to have you see what you're really living for! Humility can be a hard lesson to learn. You may start to question your understanding of security.

Cancer (June 21 - July 22)- Here the Solar Eclipse is at it's most intense! If you've held yourself back due to fear of not succeeding, well you've already done just that! This Eclipse is represented in your 1st House, your personality and approach. You are not one to flaunt your ego, you genuinely care! Your will and self awareness are abundant! Don't let your Cancerian self hold that nurturing in, share it and spread the love! You have strong recuperative abilities that let you bounce back from any struggle that's been happening. Just be careful of impatience and compulsiveness.

Leo (July 23 - August 22)- With the Eclipse in your 12th House you may need to re-evaluate the signals you subconsciously broadcast. This is not the time to lose faith in your goals. but you might be surprised if you shift your focus from recognition for your actions to feeling fulfilled by the service you're providing. Do not give your control over to others thinking they have the answers. This is the time to listen to your inner voice, rely on your intuition and take time for some self contemplation. Evaluate things honestly and acknowledge your faults AND your virtues!

Virgo (August 23 - September 22)- This emotional Cancer Eclipse finds itself in your 11th House, the house of groups and friendships. You may find this energy as being restricted or be faced with pressure from others. With Venus now in your sign as well, you would do best to trust your actions are done with the best intentions. You may be the one that needs to take the lead in organizing a group experience if you want to spread your humanitarianism. At this time, you may find your interest in occult subjects are heightened as well and you can easily research the information you look for.

Libra (September 23 - October 22)- You might feel a struggle to make you place in the world with this Solar Eclipse in your 10th House of career success and status. If you're looking for power or fame, you need to realize it comes with price! Don't feel as though you are entitled to authority. Finding a balance between owning your power and when to give it over to someone else may key at this time. The ambition to succeed is there, be sure the reason you're working so hard is really what you want at the end result!

Scorpio (October 23 - November 21)- This Solar Eclipse hits your 9th House of philosophy, higher education, traditions and spiritual matters. As Venus is in your 11th House, you may find yourself achieving the education you dreamed of, as the 11th House also shows our hopes and dreams! This also can be a time to travel (also 9th House) if your heart desires. This is not a time to be limiting of yourself or condescending, you'll need to keep an open mind. Use this time to find your inspiration and harness the energy to realize your highest hopes!

Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21)- As this Solar Eclipse finds itself in your 8th House, your house of shared resources, physical, psychological, spiritual and psychic evolution; you may experience this energy in many ways over the next couple of months! Your self esteem may find itself reborn, like the phoenix rising from the ashes! You feel things are at a turning point and you're ready to start doing things out of love rather than necessity! You are usually one that is honest and don't hold back what's on your mind. Stand true with what you feel and believe!

Capricorn (December 22 - January 19)- You might find yourself looking at your relationships in a new light as the New Moon in Cancer is opposite your sign. This Eclipse finds itself in your 7th House of partnerships. You have been wanting emotional fulfillment and as Venus transits your 9th house, new ideas may weave their way into your life bringing you into contact with cultures you have been fascinated with. Perhaps learning a foreign language, or taking a meditation or yoga class will have you meeting those you would like to bring into your life! Now is a time to bring conscious expanding growth.

Aquarius (January 20 - February 18)- During this Eclipse, it'll hit your 6th House, house of health and daily routines. If things have been in a slump, it's time to see if the way you've been going about it is really the right way. You may be spreading yourself out a little too much! Try to find the focus you need as Venus finds itself in the transformative 8th House. Also, if you've had any health problems, now would be the time to address them. Establishing a routine for a healthy body and mind can be beneficial!

Pisces (February 19 - March 20)- This Eclipse finds you well and it lands in your 5th House, house of creativity, children and hobbies. There may end up being an emotional "block" that comes about, but it's more about the lesson that there's a time for play and a time when work needs to be done! This may further be enhanced by Venus in your 7th house. If you have children, take time to play games with them that you enjoyed.. or if your older, there's nothing wrong with a couple of beers for an adult game night either!

Venus enters Virgo ~ Evaluate and Appreciate

 Hopefully you've enjoyed Venus' jaunt through Leo the last few weeks and got your socializing and shopping spree's out of the way! Not that we don't all need to throw caution to the wind at times! But now that she will be in Virgo from July 10th to August 6th, we will be taking note self-consciously and maybe approaching things a little more cautiously.

Venus shows us our material values, how we approach love, powers of attraction, the appreciation of others, socialization, and the manner in which you express affection. In Leo, she is dynamic and waiting for that Prince Charming to put her on a pedestal. With Venus in Virgo, we have more patience to see the diamond in the rough or at times can stir up negative aspects of being over critical or judgmental.

Virgo is fair and just. Give it to her straight! As Venus transits Virgo, we must remember this is a sign were it's in it's fall. This means that the planet is in the opposite sign that rules it! What happens when a planet is in it's fall is the energy is more easily weakened and can be affected negatively.

In terms of love, we may need to make sure old hurts do not resurface to cause more pain. We'll need to see things as they are and try not to make any excuses. Though at the same time, you'll need to make sure you don't mistake genuine thoughtfulness! When Venus moves into Libra, true appreciation will be realized.

Since Venus also rules our money and finances, giving a double take over your budget at this time also proves beneficial! We all enjoy buying things that aren't needed, but we also hate to be surprised when an unexpected expense shows up! This can be a time that we realize how we treat our finances is also tied in with how we value our own self-worth.

Now of course, we don't all have the same chart.. so Venus is going to affect us differently! I personally, had a rather busy month last month that included my solar return, Venus return, AND Mars return! As you can see, it's a pretty interesting Venus return!

Currently, Venus is now in my 1st house and about to conjunct my natal Mars. I'll need to make sure I keep a level head about any obstacles I perceive and try not to act in an aggressive or impatient manor! But I am starting to already feel the pull in an artistic way as well in putting more passion and expression in my work!

While Venus makes her way through Virgo we'll be blessed with doing away with the things that are no longer serving us well so that when she enters into Libra, we're rewarded for the "sacrifices" (or maybe it's more regaining our common sense!), we've made and come to a more balanced understanding of what we really appreciate in life!

Expect the Unexpected

Ok so, I apologize that Tarotscopes did not get posted!! And after I made a big stink about them possibly going out on Sunday.. it's just one of those weeks peeps! Some time ya just gotta learn to roll with it. On a plus side, I do have a lush new lawn! So, you're probably asking yourself what that pic is too... Well, that's another thing I've been working on... EVP's!!!! It's the spectral graphic of the clip. Now I know I've said more than enough times I have one that will knock your socks off... I've been trying to work with the audio, but I haven't spent enough time in the program I've been using to get it tweaked to perfection. I'm sure given some time, I'll figure it out! I've got an air conditioning unit right outside my window.. it's not the quietest. LOL! If someone has any tips or tricks to equalizing and noise reduction for EVP's I'm all ears! Believe me, if I can get some of the stuff I hear but others don't, that would be pretty nice too! Anyways.. here he, and I believe she, is!

Now I gotta remind you that I've been doing a lot of these recordings either with a ghost box, or Frank's box, and like this one I'm sharing; while I'm asleep. I use an Olympus DM-420 for recording. The weird thing is that most of the one's that happen when I'm asleep, usually occur at the same times when recording! I kinda wanted to just have an idea of maybe what sort of activity might be going on while I'm sleeping... Boy, have I been surprised!!!

So, at first you will hear a sigh. Then there is a male's voice that I hear saying "expecting me?". Now, next is a tough one because it almost sounds like my voice in the background a little. But you can definitely make out a whisper saying either "there's no fear in us" or "fear us". It's tough since it almost seems like I answer "no" while asleep, after the man, but either before or as part of the answer. I plan to work on this one quite a bit more since there's about 5 hours of recording on it and this one is a good one, but I still have many, MANY, more that need help. I haven't even made any new recordings in the last 2 months because I already have so many available. Though I am also planning on making a list of questions and work with the ghost box a little more to see what we can produce there! I've already received some answers there regarding a "vortex"!!!
