Andi's Tarot/Lenormand Daily Draw

Tarot & Lenormand Daily Draw
For a while now I've been having awesome reads with the Lenormand! I'm not sure I really expected something differently! LOL! And since I just love them so much, I've incorporated them into my daily draw for myself!

I start every day with this spread. I actually try to journal theses every day too (when I don't stack 6 books on top of my journal!) so I can go back and compare and see where trends hit with what's happening astrologically. For me, EVERYTHING is connected! And I've got this smidgen of mad scientist in me that feels the need of proof... Actually it might not be as much proof as needing to make sure I'm still "on par" with myself! It's nice to be able to go back and see where I could have looked at something in a different way if needed be. Sometimes you have to look to the past to have a better recognition of what's coming in the future. So here's how it's done!

First you'll need a Tarot deck and a Lenormand deck, obviously. I like using Legacy of the Divine Tarot with the Gilded Reverie Lenormand. Honestly, once the cards got into the groove of things they have resulted in some of the prettiest reads since the coloring almost always matches in a harmonious blend!

So, take your Tarot deck and shuffle away thinking about your day.. what you want to accomplish, what might be a distraction, etc. When you're ready, cut the deck. Take the top card of each stack; 1st stack card to the left, 2nd stack card to the right. The card to your left will be your focus of the day, the card to the right will be your challenge. Take your Lenormand deck; shuffle and then fan the cards face down. Draw your first card and place it under the first Tarot card and then pick your 2nd card and place it next to the other Lenormand card and under the 2nd Tarot card. The Lenormand cards are more or less WHAT IS, or what it will end up being like for the day.. or for whatever reason when I started doing this spread, my guides had called them "presents".

Now as far as how to read them.. Just start with the pairs. First the Tarot and then the Lenormand. So for a really super quick rundown of this day's draw, it looks like I'll be focused on bringing to light what I need to go after more substantially, but my challenge will be not to lose sight of what's most important. Lenormand says: the knowledge may be difficult to be applied! Then I will read them vertically.. The knowledge is there, stick with what you know. Then reading them diagonally, and finally I will read them in groupings of 3 with the top or bottom cards with one of the right or left cards as the center; so this could be 8 of Wands, Book or Mountain, 5 of Swords; or Book, 8oW/5oS, Mountain. Again I get the same stand with what you know, work towards what you want. I could go a little more into the 5 of Swords thoughts that I have as well, but I wanted to keep the interpretation light!

So ok, this makes sense for me because after Friday's Leo Full Moon, I kinda thought "gee, I should maybe shake things up a little!?". But now that the weekend has come to a close, I'm seeing that that's not really the case... and I KNOW where I really need to be putting my focus! And that's how I've been doing my daily draws for the last couple months! It's been serving up great info, so I definitely wanted to pass it along!

If you don't have a Lenormand deck yet, you can still do the daily draw with just the Tarot and use just the 2 cards for your focus and challenge of the day! I hope you give this spread a try and let me know how your results turn out!

Enjoy your week!

Celebrate Lammas - Harvest Your Abundance!

Happy Lammas!! Or Lughnasadh if that's what you like to celebrate! While usually I like to include a little bit of history on what the holidays mean, I'm just going to point you to my first post Celebrate Lammas ~ Count Your Blessings! where you can find out some more information (and goodies!) about it and give you a little cliff note version here. Lammas is the first of the three harvest celebrations; the other two being Mabon and Samhain. It is a cross-quarter holiday, halfway between the Summer Solstice (Litha) and the Autumnal Equinox (Mabon). On the Wheel of the Year, it is opposite Imbolc. While there's still plenty of time left in the growing season, this is a good time to make a blessing for further abundance to come into your life and to be grateful for what's already been achieved! This summer seemed to be a scorcher for a good part of the US.. I didn't notice it too much being in FL, but many of my friends in OH said it was either too hot or too rainy and they didn't get to enjoy the summer very much. But the cooler temps with bonfire get together's and the anticipation of getting the kiddos back into the routine of school is being welcomed! But since it's the cooler season now there is some GREAT gardening that can be done! So check out Vegetables and Herbs to Plant in August or I'm sure you can check the month of September too if you need some time to prepare, and also your USDA Hardiness Zone so you can better plan what you can plant as well! It's so wonderful when you're able to harvest your own food and you can feel a sense of accomplishment that comes from nurturing a plant while mother nature does her thing!

Now.. I'm sure you're wondering what's with the picture I used too! Maybe you saw it posted on my instagram or twitter account! It's the goody I'm including for this post! This is my Lammas Harvest Tarot Spread! And here's how it works... The layout itself is a basket! There are 6 cards to symbolize balance, service, home and domesticness, and responsibility. The number 6 in numerology also has ties to agriculture.. see how it all ties in!? Here is what each card represents...

Card #1 - Where I am at.. I received the Queen of Pentacles! I took this as a good sign that I'm making the right choices in my business decisions.

Card #2 - Where I need to have more focus.. I got The Shadow Side since I am using the Witches Tarot, but most know it as The Devil. I'll take that as a sign that I need to make sure that I don't lose sight of what's in front of me and get too wrapped up in my work!

Card #3 - Where will I find my strength.. With the Six of Pentacles I'm taking that to give as much as I receive!

Card #4 - The help I will receive unexpectedly.. Oh the Fool.. you just never know the potential that is there until you try something different!

Card #5 - What comes next.. The Emperor blesses me with a solid foundation from the experiences I've learned from!

Card #6 - The bountiful fruits of labor.. Celebration in my creativity and lasting friendships from sharing and caring! Fabulous success!!

Guess what.. I also have the printable available too!! So if you'd like to add it to your journal, here is the doc and pdf files you can download! Take some time to count your blessings and to think about what more you would like to accomplish before settling into the Winter slumber!

As always, if you'd like me to take a look at things for you with a reading I'd be more than happy to! Just send me a message at my email or facebook! Also.. if you missed my tweet earlier; I am currently offering a special of an hour worth of chat reading for $100!! This can be spread over multiple sessions!! I hope you're enjoying your week so far!! Only a couple more days til the weekend! Woo hoo!!!

Many Blessings!

Freebie Friday!! 3 Card Daily Tarot Journal Page

Well, I missed Tarotscopes this week. But I'm pretty sure I had announced that I wouldn't be posting them on Twitter or Facebook, since I had so much going on! Actually... we have a bid in on a house!!!!! So I'm SUPER excited that we might finally have our own home.. for good. Or at least for a couple years since they say the first house you buy won't be your last. But we're hoping that it is because it's absolutely PERFECT! We shall see! Either way, it'll happen if it's supposed to. Now... I at least wanted to get this out to everyone as well! A FREEBIE! This is another spread that I like to use daily to take a look at what the day will bring. And that's usually how I word my intention with the spread!

The first card is the focus on the day. If it is a Pentacle, maybe this would be business or home related. If it is Cups; emotional or relationships. Wands can be creativity or communication and Swords may be a challenge or resistance to change. The way you interpret your cards is up to you of course!

The second card is the way you emotionally handle the day and how you'll feel about the way the day progresses.

The last card is how the day unfolds in the physical; what and how to expect things to happen!

I made two variations for this as well. The first one allows for a card sticker to be pasted; stay posted as I'm in the process of making that available!! The second one allows for you to either paste a sticker or draw your own card in the spot! I've also made these pages in the same jpg, pdf, and docx formats for easy download! So, enjoy this new journal page! There'll be more on the way soon and hopefully when the site gets re-vamped I'll have a whole section devoted to downloads!

Version one pdf and doc

Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend and if you celebrate Easter, have a wonderful Easter Sunday!

Many Blessings!

Freebie Friday! Daily Tarot Journal Page

It's the weekend!! WOO HOO!! And what better way than to start it off with a freebie! I get a lot of questions about learning to read the Tarot and in the classes I teach, I require a journal to be kept. Actually I haven't found too many mentors that DON'T recommend keeping a journal when learning anything metaphysical! Journaling is good for a number of reasons! The main one being that you'll have your own thoughts and notes about the work you're doing. The second reason is the work itself! When you put more effort into something you're learning, the knowledge is retained more easily. The same can be said when exercising.. after doing the same move so many times, the muscles are trained in knowing how to move!

I'm offering up the most basic of journal pages; a daily tarot draw where you can record the date and time, deck used, your card keywords, feelings, interpretation, and evening reflection. There is a spot where you can either draw in the card you picked or you can scan and print a copy to attach! I didn't put any fancy graphics on it and left plenty of margin space if you'd like to modify it to go on pretty bordered paper or want to include your own doodles! I find it when you keep it simple, it's easier to take the time to keep with it! I'm including different formats so that you can either print out the page to add to a 3 ring binder or you can also save a digital format if you'd rather! When I started learning Tarot I'd had so many notebooks and even online journals with readings scribbled all throughout them and it was tough to find the cohesiveness in them! And I am forever trying to organize things to keep them as simple as possible in life! That's what makes this so much easier in that you can print out the page when you want or form it into a document that will be capable of searching! The purpose is just to get you going!! I'll be offering up some other pages as well to help bulk up your magickal journal or Book of Shadows, so definitely keep your eye out for those!

So in the meantime, feel free to snag this freebie!

You can also download the pdf or doc version! If you would like me to customize a journal page for you or you have any Tarot questions or would even like a reading; feel free to send me a message at facebook or at my email!

Have a fabulous weekend!
